AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I can honestly say I have never had a car buying experience like this before, impressed is an understatement. I had a few credit issues and was a bit apprehensive about applying for a loan. I decided to take a chance with Matthews Motors and completed the online finance application. I was immediately contacted by a sales rep and was able to schedule an appt first thing the next business day. I met with Uriel who was amazing and within 2 1/2 hours I left the dealership driving my new car. The amazing part is Uriel asked what I was looking for and what I was not looking for. Based on what I told him the very first car he brought me was the one. The 2021 Subaru Ascent Touring had everything I was looking for in a dependable 3rd row vehicle that didn't look like a minivan and was within my price range. You can tell they actually care as Ken assisted with the financial paperwork and did a great job explaining terms and answering questions. Uriel walked me to the service counter and introduced me to the staff for any future service needs. It was like becoming part of the family. I have had my new car for over a week, and they have followed up to make sure everything was going well. I am so happy I chose Matthews Motors as you could not ask for a wider selection of vehicles, better customer service and overall experience. They will be my go to for all future car buying needs which is great since I have to kids that are now pre-teens Thank you Matthews Motors for being so great. I will be referring all my friends and family for their future car buying.

What can I say, I had the absolute best experience purchasing my 2nd vehicle from Brandon Williams. He was able to get the vehicle I wanted to his location. The best part was after securing the purchase I needed assistance with getting it home. Mr. Williams volunteered to assist me with getting the vehicle to my home. After a very long search for a specific used car with specific features, I found one at Matthews Motors. It was out of my price range but they negotiated with me quite generously. More importantly, when they saw what a tough decision this was for me, they offered for me to take the car for 24 hours, allowing me to drive it to and from work and allowing me to feel it out in my normal routine. This was key because I learned over those 24 hours that there were a few things I didn't like about the car that I didn't pay attention to during several previous short test drives. I was still having a tough time deciding and through the negotiation process, Tony could tell that it wasn't the car for me. He could tell that my disappointment was not about the price but was about that the perfect car I had spent all of this time looking for was not perfect for me - he could tell this before even I was able to identify my disappointment. There was never any pressure and in fact he shifted into offering to help me find my perfect car. When I went out to transfer my things from the test driven car to my car, Matt, seeing how emotionally spent I was, insisted on carrying my things to my car. I really appreciate the time both Matt and Tony generously spent with me. Their patience and sincerity was much appreciated. On a side note, I enjoyed the Christian music that they play at the dealership. Whenever I decide what my next perfect car is, I will definitely be going to Matthews Motors.

I have been doing business with the Service Department at Matthew's Motors of Clayton, for about a year. They are always courteous and professional. The service department has gone above and beyond Each visit. As a top notch service department, they discuss services before hand, contact me if additional services may be needed, and if they are needed, said services are completed in a timely manner. During pick up, They review my bill AND make sure that I know when my next Service is due. Recently, I needed to go out of State for an urgent family matter. I was past due on my oil change and knew I had to have it done before I could safely travel. I called explained my situation and that I was willing to wait if they can work me in ( I called toward 3:00pm on a Busy Friday). Not only did they work me in, they told me I needed additional services on my vehicle with a strong recommendation one be done before I travel out-of-state. The others to be done as upon my return. I picked up my vehicle and was confident We were safe for travel. I knew they were looking out for me as if I were part of their family. I will continue to do business with them as long as I live here and will recommend them highly to anyone in need of their services or sales. Thank you Matthews Motors! My husband and I went to the Clayton location looking for a specific car that I saw on their website. I loved the fact that we were not bombarded with sales men and were allowed time to look around before going in to the building. My salesman Rob Walker was very nice and was very easy to work with . His manager Tony not only had a GREAT sense of humor, but gave us a great deal on my Maxima. The level of service this dealership provides is the best of experienced in a long time. I was in desperate need of a vehicle quick and was on crutches. Everyone treated me like a family member with great compassion and caring. Stormie, the saleperson, was wonderful and helped me find the right car for me and my family and even helped me get new insurance when my company quoted me a ridiculous price to cover the new car. It was only 1/3 of the cost they quoted me and they got me covered in less than 10 minutes. Jerry Cummings, the Finance Manager, negotiated back and forth on my behalf as if he was negotiating his own loan and made sure he made the extended warranty available to me at the minimum cost. I arrived at 10am without a vehicle in mind and by 2pm I was driving away with my detailed (amazingly clean) one owner vehicle with 1/2 tank of gas, an appointment already set for my complimentary first oil change, and a VIP packet filled with coupons for all sorts of future maintenance needs! They even provided a driver to get the car I arrived in home so I wouldn't have to go home and get my daughter and bring her back to the dealership to retrieve the vehicle I drove there that morning. I couldn't have asked for more from them. I have dealt with most of the dealerships in town and these guys are the ONLY ones that ever treated me the way they would want to be treated; looking out for my best interest every step of the way instead of their "bottom line". They were TRULY AN ANSWER TO PRAYERS! Do yourself a favor and see them before you waste your time going anywhere else!

The people that work in here are very friendly and polite. They will help you find a car that meets your needs and do everything for you, you just have to pick one and sign.
